School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist – Belvidere, Illinois

Job Description:

Supplemental Health Care works with districts nationwide to hire thousands of school professionals every year. Currently, we're hiring a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist to work in a school located in Belvidere, Illinois.

Qualifications:

-Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology

• Must have a Professional Educator License (PEL) from the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE)
• Illinois SLP License
• American Heart Association BLS
• School Experience is Preferred but not required
• ASHA Certification

Speech-Language Pathologist Contract Details:

• $52.65 - $56.70 per hour
• 9-week contracts
• $3,000 assignment bonus available *conditions apply; ask recruiter for details
• SLP will work with students to assess, screen, evaluate, and share results with parents and the school interdisciplinary team
• SLP will develop and implement IEPs for students while reviewing goals and objectives to make recommendations for appropriate care plans
• Will be expected to establish a positive learning environment while providing response to intervention for the needs of each student
• May be asked to supervise assistants
