Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Possess an active Georgia SLP License or valid GaPSC certification (one required initially; both needed eventually)
Open to Clinical Fellows (CF) and licensed Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLAs with GaPSC certification)
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred, but Clinical Fellows welcome
Experience in school or pediatric settings strongly preferred
Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments to identify students’ speech and language needs
Develop and implement individualized therapy plans and IEPs in coordination with the multidisciplinary team
Deliver engaging one-on-one and group therapy sessions onsite in an elementary school
Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
Collaborate with teachers, families, and staff to support holistic student development
Participate in IEP meetings and strategy planning
Utilize evidence-based practices to maximize student outcomes
