    Role Description The School-Based Speech Language Pathologist will provide direct speech and language services to students in an on-site school setting in Trenton, GA. This part-time role includes conducting screenings and evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering therapy to students with a range of communication needs. Responsibilities include participating in IEP meetings, collaborating with teachers and school teams, documenting progress, and maintaining accurate records in accordance with school and district guidelines. The Speech Language Pathologist will work closely with educational staff and families to support students’ academic and functional communication skills within the school environment.

    Qualifications

    • \n
    • Demonstrated proficiency in Speech Therapy and treatment of Speech sound disorders.
    • \n
    • Experience working with Communication Disorders and Language Disorders in school-aged children.
    • \n
    • Knowledge and clinical skills related to Dysphagia assessment and management, where applicable in school settings.
    • \n
    • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
    • \n
    • Current state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Georgia and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
    • \n
    • Experience in school-based practice, including IEP development, progress monitoring, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
    • \n
    • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, families, and staff from diverse backgrounds.
    • \n
    • Ability to manage a part-time caseload, organize schedules, and maintain timely documentation in compliance with district and professional standards.
