School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Napa, California

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
• Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
• Previous experience in K-12 school settings highly preferred.
• Strong familiarity with administering virtual assessments and delivering teletherapy services.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and time management abilities.
• Comfortable working independently and collaborating with educators and families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide diagnostic assessments, direct therapy, and progress monitoring for students with speech and language needs via teletherapy platforms.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in accordance with federal and state requirements.
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary team members to support each student’s educational success.
• Maintain thorough and timely records, documents, and reporting in compliance with district and regulatory guidelines.
• Use technology effectively to engage students and deliver innovative, interactive therapy experiences.
• Attend virtual meetings, participate in IEP team conferences, and contribute to student evaluations as needed.
