Empower young learners to find their voices in a rewarding school-based opportunity supporting children from preschool through 2nd grade. We're seeking a dedicated professional with a Speech-Language Pathology Certification and an SLP-CCC credential for a contract assignment in an elementary setting. This is an on-site position requiring your expertise 2-3 days per week, up to 23-24 hours split across 4 days.
In this pivotal role, you will be the primary case manager for a caseload of 25 students receiving speech services and collaborate as IEP support for an additional 7-10 students with combined speech and other SPED needs. Your commitment directly shapes the communication skills and confidence of young students during their most formative years.
Qualifications and Experience:
Valid SLP license and active SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
Previous experience working with preschool and elementary-aged children preferred
Strong understanding of speech/language development and intervention techniques
Experience managing IEPs and collaborating in multidisciplinary team environments
Ability to work independently and efficiently within a flexible weekly schedule
Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct, on-site speech and language therapy services for students in preschool through 2nd grade
Serve as case manager for speech-only student caseload, leading goal-setting, progress monitoring, and communication with families and staff
Offer IEP support for students with additional special education needs, collaborating closely with the SPED team
Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with school and legal requirements
