School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Chicago Heights, IL

Lakeshore Behavior Consulting is hiring a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a school-based position in Chicago Heights, Illinois.

This is an in-person, W-2 position with consistent school-day hours, benefits, and a 12-month pay schedule. The SLP will provide speech and language services to students while collaborating with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary school teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct speech and language therapy and consultative services
• Conduct speech and language evaluations and write assessment reports
• Develop measurable IEP goals and contribute to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Monitor student progress and adjust services based on student needs and data
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary school teams
• Maintain accurate documentation and meet school, district, and state requirements

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Speech-Language Pathologist endorsement
• Active Illinois IDFPR Speech-Language Pathologist license
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• School-based SLP experience preferred, but not required

Pay amp; Benefits

• $55–$65 per hour (up to $86,000 per year)
