Job Requirements
  • Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Certifications Requirements: Valid Indiana State Speech-Language Pathologist license; ASHA Certification (ASHA-CCC-SLP); CPR certification
  • Experience Requirements: Minimum of 1 year of experience working in school-based settings; experience with IEP development and multidisciplinary collaboration; proficiency in pediatric speech and language disorders
  • Other Requirements: Ability to pass a background check and drug screening; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently in a school environment

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive speech and language assessments for students to identify needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student communication goals and objectives.
  • Implement evidence-based speech therapy interventions tailored to each student’s unique needs.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, session notes, and progress reports in compliance with school and state regulations.
