School-Based Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) - $48/hr

Schedule: Monday–Friday, school hours

Location: Vallejo, CA
No nights or weekends

We are seeking a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a school-based position in the Vallejo, CA area. This is a great opportunity for an SLPA who enjoys working with students, supporting speech and language development, and collaborating with school teams.

The ideal candidate will have AAC experience and be comfortable supporting students who use augmentative and alternative communication devices or systems.

Position Details:

• Full-time, Monday through Friday
• School hours only
• No nights or weekends
• School-based setting
• Support students across one or more school sites
• Pay rate: $48/hour

Responsibilities May Include:

• Provide speech and language support under the supervision of a licensed SLP
• Assist students with speech, language, communication, and AAC goals
• Support AAC device use, modeling, carryover, and implementation
• Work with students individually or in small groups
• Assist with documentation, progress tracking, and therapy preparation
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, families, and the supervising SLP
• Help students access communication throughout the school day

Requirements:

• Active SLPA license/certification as required in California
• AAC experience required
• School-based experience preferred
• Ability to work in person in Vallejo, CA
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Reliable, professional, and student-focused
