Requirements and Qualifications
Valid Special Education teaching credential Preferred: • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or have in progress • OR Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential • Masters Degree or higher in Special Education or related field, such as School Psychology, MFT, Clinical Psychology, LCSW
Experience:
• Writing behavior plans for students with behavior difficulties • ABA or similar research-based training experience and training • 2-3 years minimum experience working as a behavior or autism specialist or related field
Completed application, cover letter, resume, two recent letters of recommendation, copy of credential, and copy of unofficial transcripts.
Comments and Other Information
Basic Function: Under the professional supervision of the Director of Special Education or designee, plans, organizes, coordinates, and is responsible for providing supportive consulting services to assist staff and families in the development and implementation of comprehensive behavior intervention plans for students.
