Our Bus Drivers safely transport passengers to and from assigned stops, schools, and/or school functions according to specified routes. Bus Drivers are responsible for maintaining orderly conduct during trips and facilitating a positive driver-student interaction.

Essential Job Functions
Transports students safely between home and school and between other locations on special occasions such as field trips and sporting events.
Maintains discipline when students are on the bus in the best interest of safety and reports any student misconduct to the principal or principals designee.
Performs routine safety pre-trip inspections before morning and afternoon routes and logs on pre-trip inspection forms on a daily basis. Reports any mechanical problems or concerns to the bus garage promptly.
Reports all accidents promptly and follows approved guidelines and completes required reports.
Attends safety workshops related to transportation and completes all required training.
Follows safety rules and regulations and proper procedures as outlined in the Bus Drivers Handbook, as well as knowledge of all state regulations pertaining to school bus safety.
