POSITION: School Bus Driver

REPORTS TO: Transportation Supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Must pass a background check and drug test
• Ability to pass the commercial driving test once trained or have a commercial driver's license
• Enjoy working with children

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Follow all Federal, State, and Department of Education laws and regulations while driving
• Provide safe transportation for and maintain order amongst all assigned students
• Keep accurate records and route updates
• Conduct routine safety inspections of the bus before and after each route
• Maintain a clean and orderly bus interior and exterior
• Promote positive public relations with students, parents, and other school personnel
• Follow all school transportation policies and procedures
• Maintain confidentiality for all school-related information
• Perform other duties assigned by the Transportation Supervisor

SALARY: Per the Transportation Agreement ($22.45-25.82 per hour, depending on experience)
