Position Summary: School Bus Drivers are responsible for safely transporting students and passengers to and from designated locations while ensuring a positive and professional experience. This is a great position for individuals who enjoy working with the community and want a consistent, rewarding schedule.
Responsibilities:
Safely operate a school bus in compliance with state and federal regulations.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
Maintain order and safety among passengers during transport.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, school staff, and parents as needed.
Report mechanical issues or incidents promptly.
Qualifications:
Valid Maryland CDL Class B with Passenger (P), School Bus (S) and Air Brake endorsements.
Must pass a DOT physical, drug screen, and background check.
Clean driving record with a strong safety history.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Reliability and punctuality are essential.
Schedule:
Part-time or full-time positions available
Split shifts (morning and afternoon routes, with possible mid-days)
