As a school bus driver, you'll play an important role in your community by safely transporting students to and from school while providing a safe, welcoming environment for every passenger.

Starting Pay: $24.35 per hour

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a school bus along an established route.
• Pick up and drop off student passengers at designated bus stops.
• Conduct required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Follow all school bus safety and bus stop safety procedures.
• Attend and participate in monthly safety meetings.
• Maintain a clean and professional bus.
• Provide a safe, respectful, and positive environment for students.
• Participate in field trips, activity trips, and charter runs as requested or desired.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must have a minimum of 5 years of verifiable driving history.
• Must have a clean driving record within the last 24-36 months.
• Must be able and willing to obtain a CDL with required school bus and passenger endorsements.
• Must successfully complete our comprehensive paid training program.
• Must successfully complete required pre-employment background checks and other applicable screening requirements.
• Commitment to safety and responsibility when transporting students.
