Job Summary
Under the direction, guidance, and supervision of the Director of Transportation, the school bus driver will transport students, including those designated as Special Needs Students, safely from designated bus stops, field trips, and other sites as approved by Sacramento Valley Charter School administration and Director of Transportation. The School Bus Driver reports directly to the Director of Transportation and Principal.

California School Bus Driver Training Program 20-Hour minimum classroom training course for school bus drivers 20-Hour minimum Behind-the-Wheel Training Pass a Drive Test with the California Highway Patrol DMV Requirements Pass Class C B Air Brakes & Passenger Endorsement Pass General Knowledge Written Exams California Highway Patrol Requirements Pass Rules & Regulations Written Exam Pass First Aid Written Exam Pass Drive Test with the California Highway Patrol DL-51 Pass a Department of Transportation DOT Physical Exam to Drive a Commercial Vehicle OTHER REQUIREMENTS
