Description

Five Star Interlocal Co-Op School Business Manager

1) Financial

Oversee the entire financial workflow, from daily transactions to payroll, budgeting, monitoring and reporting to ensure accuracy, compliance and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Transaction Management - Handles daily financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Payroll and Tax Filings - Oversees payroll processing and prepares monthly, quarterly and yearly tax documents.

Budgeting and Financial Reporting - Develops budgets and generates financial statements.

Regulatory Compliance - Ensures adherence to accounting standards and regulations. Monitor cash levels.

Record and pay accounts payable.

Maintain a coherent system of accounts, with a supporting filing system.

Collect information as needed for the annual audit.

2) Human Resources (HR)

Source of information between the Co-Op and the employee. Maintain a personnel file on each employee, making sure each file is compliant with federal law, state school law and Co-Op requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Communicate information, as needed and in a timely fashion, to employees in a way that helps build connection between the Co-Op and the employee.

Stay current on guidelines that exist on the local, state and federal level that help protect both the Co-Op and the employee in work-related situations.

Insurance.

Onboarding new employees and closing out resigning or terminated employees.

After signed and dated release of information from the employee, provide requested information to outside sources.
