Job Summary:
Under the direct supervision of the School Mental Health Program Manager, the School Clerical Supervisor provides leadership and oversight for clerical operations across assigned school-based health sites. This position supervises clerical staff, coordinates daily workflows, supports operational needs, and ensures effective administrative support for HCC’s school-based programs.
The School Clerical Supervisor works collaboratively with HCC providers, school-based health staff, school personnel, students, families, and community partners to support the coordination and delivery of quality healthcare services within the school setting.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Provide direct supervision, leadership, coaching, and support to clerical staff assigned to School Wellness Program sites, grant-funded school sites, and behavioral health-only sites.
- Oversee daily clerical operations, including staffing coverage, scheduling, workflow processes, and operational needs.
- Monitor staff performance, provide feedback, complete evaluations, and address performance concerns as needed.
- Assist with recruitment, interviewing, onboarding, and training of new clerical team members.
- Provide clerical coverage at school locations when urgent operational needs arise.
- Develop and improve workflows, procedures, and processes to support efficient school-based health operations.
- Coordinate with school staff and HCC departments regarding operational needs, including supplies, badges, key cards, and facility requests.
- Support medical record organization, retention, retrieval, review, and release processes while maintaining confidentiality.
- Review payroll reports and assist with timekeeping accuracy.
- Promote excellent customer service and support HCC’s mission, values, and commitment to patient-centered care.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient, employee, and organizational information in accordance with HIPAA and HCC policies.
Job Qualifications - High school diploma or equivalent required.
- College degree preferred and/or a minimum of three years of experience.
- Previous supervisory experience.
- Experience working in healthcare, education, or a customer service environment preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and ability to learn new technology systems.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
