The Goddard School of Pearland Parkway is looking for a dependable, caring, and energetic School Cook to join our team! If you love preparing fresh, nutritious meals and enjoy working in a positive environment with children, we’d love to meet you!


‍ WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Prepare and serve daily meals and snacks for our students according to school menus and nutrition guidelines.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen.
• Properly store, label, and rotate food and supplies.
• Accommodate documented food allergies and dietary restrictions.
• Monitor food inventory and communicate when supplies need to be ordered.
• Maintain accurate kitchen and food-service records.
• Work closely with the school administration and teaching team to ensure meals are prepared and served on schedule.
• Help create a welcoming mealtime experience for our students.

️ WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We’re looking for someone who is:

• Reliable, punctual, and organized.
• Comfortable working independently and managing multiple tasks.
• Experienced with food preparation and kitchen sanitation.
• Detail-oriented and committed to following food safety procedures.
• Patient, positive, and comfortable working in a childcare environment.
• Able to communicate effectively with staff and administration.
• Passionate about providing healthy, kid-friendly meals.

Previous experience cooking in a childcare center, school, healthcare facility, or similar setting is a plus!
