The School District of Onalaska is accepting applications for a full-time School Counselor position at Eagle Bluff Elementary starting with the 2026-27 school year.
Position Summary
To implement a comprehensive school counseling program to support students and provide education, prevention and intervention activities, which are integrated into all aspects of students' lives. The school counselor teaches students the knowledge, attitudes and skills necessary for academic, career and social/emotional development in collaboration with parents and other school staff.
Qualifications
Possess a valid Wisconsin School Counselor License.
Prior school counseling experience preferred.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
Skill in counseling education, career and personal development.
Ability to work well with school board members, administrators, staff and the community.
Such qualifications as the Board of Education may find appropriate.
