School Counselor: Grade K-6

The Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah School District is seeking a dedicated, student-centered K-6 School Counselor to join our team beginning with the 2026-2027 school year. We are looking for an enthusiastic professional who is passionate about supporting the academic, social-emotional, and career development of elementary students while fostering a positive and inclusive school culture. The K-6 School Counselor provides a comprehensive school counseling program that promotes student success through individual counseling, small group support, classroom guidance lessons, consultation with staff and families, and collaboration with community resources.

A successful candidate will:

• Provide individual and small-group counseling services to students.
• Deliver classroom guidance lessons aligned with the school counseling curriculum.
• Support students'' social, emotional, behavioral, and academic development.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and support staff to promote student success.
• Assist with crisis response, intervention planning, and referrals to community resources.
• Participate in student support teams and contribute to the development of intervention plans.
• Promote a positive school climate and culture that supports all learners.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with applicable state and federal requirements.

District Description: The Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah School District is a small rural school district in Sheboygan County. The district connects community children to the Resorter family by offering a childcare program, and a wide variety of high-level learning and extra-curricular opportunities through Grade 12. The district has a student population of 530 students. Many of these students open-enroll to the district to take advantage of the small class sizes, caring staff, one-on-one attention, and quality class offerings. The District employs 75 dedicated and talented professional staff members who work in a positive and collaborative environment. Our School Board and community are very supportive of the district, as evidenced by a history of passed referendums.
