South Shore Technical seeks a School Counselor for the 2026-2027 school year. The Counselor in this position will primarily be responsible for supporting our Grade 9 population with a successful transition to high school and managing the Exploratory program. The Counselor will also serve and support students in Grades 10-12. Required Qualifications: DESE Licensure as School Counselor [5-12]. Preferred Qualifications: Previous school counseling experience with students seeking career vocational training; Masters Degree in Guidance/Counseling; Minimum three years as a vocational or classroom teacher. Salary range: $62,859-$74,344 Contract Year : School year plus 10 days, assigned by Director of Guidance & Admissions. Funding source: Budget; Title I grant anticipated
