School Counselor (Leave Replacement 2026-27)

Anticipated end date: January 22, 2027
Salary: $68,707 - $135,620 per year (2025-26 SVEA Salary Schedule *2026-27 TBD). Salary range based on 1.0 FTE.
Required: Valid Washington State ESA Certificate with appropriate endorsement is required.
This is a leave replacement position for the 1st semester of the 2026-2027 school year. The school counselor provides services to students, which include school program and career planning; individual and group counseling, needs assessments for determining appropriate modes of service and short term crisis intervention. The counselor also disseminates appropriate information to students, staff and parents, and assists in articulation between middle school, high school and post-high school institutions. Eligibility for benefits is determined by the number of hours employees are anticipated to work during the school year (September 1 through August 31). Any employee who is scheduled to work 630 hours or more in a year is eligible for benefits.
