The School District of Rhinelander has a 1.0 FTE, School Counselor at the elementary level position open for the 2026-2027 school year.

JOB GOAL: To help students achieve self-fulfillment and mature into responsible adults. To provide a link between student, school, home and community to effectively meets the adaptive, social-emotional, behavioral, personal, family and community needs of students. This position serves as the building level expert in regard to SEL Curriculum (Second Steps), Responsive Classroom and Zones of Regulations
QUALIFICATIONS:
An earned master''s degree in school counseling.
A valid guidance and counseling or social work license issued by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.
Demonstrated ability to work with the educational staff, parents, and students; demonstrated skills in verbal and written communication; ability to organize and deliver a developmental guidance and counseling program built on knowledge of adolescent development, theories of counseling, group dynamics, educational testing and measurement, and career development.
