RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide individual and group counseling to students on academic, social, emotional, and behavioral concerns Support students through the college and career planning process, including applications, financial aid guidance, and post-secondary planning Develop and monitor individual student academic plans, schedules, and progress toward graduation requirements Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student achievement and well-being Identify and respond to students in crisis, providing appropriate intervention and referrals to outside resources as needed Maintain accurate and timely student records using PowerSchool (SIS) Assist with course scheduling, registration, and transcript review Participate in IEP, 504, and other student support team meetings as needed Coordinate and deliver programming related to social-emotional learning, mental health awareness, and school climate Serve as a liaison between the school, families, and community resources Support students and families through transitions, including incoming freshmen orientation and post-graduation planning Perform other duties as assigned by the Principal or designee QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Massachusetts certification (Grades 9-12 preferred)
  2. Previous school counselor experience preferred
  3. Understanding of SIS - PowerSchool preferred
  4. Excellent interpersonal skills required
  5. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the School Committee may find appropriate and acceptable.
