School Counselor - Part-Time

As part of our mission to pave the way for children’s success worldwide, Therapy Source is seeking a part-time School Counselor to provide in-person services to private school students. This position is for the remainder of the current school year.

School Counselor Salary: $45-$55 per hour

School Counselor Position Details:

• Part-Time
• Two half days of services (can be flexible on days and times as long as it is between Monday - Friday, and 8a-2p)

School Counselor Qualifications:

• Must have New York School Counselor Certification
• Up-to-date clearances or willingness to obtain them
• Proof of individual liability insurance or readiness to acquire it

School Counselor Responsibilities:

• Providing virtual guidance and support to address students' academic, social, and emotional challenges.
• Developing and implementing individualized plans to help students achieve their goals.
• Collaborating with educators, families, and other professionals to ensure a comprehensive support system for students.
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation of counseling sessions and student progress.
• Delivering services aligned with students’ Individual Education Programs (IEPs) when applicable.
