Description: Roseville Area Schools has a vacancy for a High School Counselor at Roseville Area High School. This is a 1.0 FTE position for the 2026-2027 school year starting August 31, 2026 (with some required hours in early August).

Qualifications:

• A current MN Counselor license is required.
• Commitment to work with all students through equitable counseling practices.

Job Responsibilities:

• Build long-term relationships with students and families
• Monitor students' progress toward graduation
• Assist all students on caseload with mental health, family and living needs
• Assist all students on caseload with academic, personal/social and career needs
• Attend IEP meetings for students on caseload
• Review domestic and foreign transcripts
• Participate in post-secondary planning with students
• Other duties as assigned

Preferred candidates will have:

• Knowledge of appropriate counseling theories and practices
• Demonstrated success working with diverse populations
• Awareness of post-secondary college and career opportunities
• Knowledge and experience working with Synergy or other student information systems

Compensation: Minimum full year, full time starting salary is $53,085, plus a district contribution towards health and dental insurance.
