Renaissance Charter Academy (RCA) is seeking a passionate, student-focused educator to serve as a Full-Time School Counselor. This unique role is perfect for a dynamic professional who thrives in both traditional and digital learning environments. Counseling duties for the RCA counselor include, but are not limited to, leading small group counseling sessions, crisis management, coordination of student support team meetings, integration of Academic Career Planning, master scheduling, and support of the GEDO II Program. This position will support students at RCA while leading the implementation of a new 6-8 Virtual School program that will eventually integrate with the existing 9-12 Virtual School program. This position is housed on-site at Renaissance Charter Academy.
Renaissance Charter Academy creates personalized instruction for 50-60 students. Students benefit from innovative teaching and hands-on learning. Instruction is individualized to fit student learning styles. RCA has a Technical Education Focus with Technology Focused Curriculum.
Applicants must have or be eligible to receive a Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction PK-12 School Counselor license.
