Competitive Compensation

$70,000-$80,000 annual base salary

$5,000 Sign-On Bonus

Performance-Based Variable Compensation

Variable compensation may be earned based on enrollment growth, school performance, and overall individual performance.

Actual compensation will be based on experience, skills, location, and internal equity.

What You'll Do

As an Assistant School Director, you'll help oversee the daily operations of the school while partnering closely with the School Director and senior leadership.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Lead, develop, motivate, and retain a strong team
  • Support recruiting, onboarding, and staff development
  • Help create a positive and engaging school culture
  • Partner with teachers to maintain high-quality educational programming
  • Build strong relationships with children and families
  • Support enrollment growth and family engagement
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable state childcare regulations
  • Oversee daily school operations and staffing
  • Support implementation of COA policies, procedures, curriculum, and standards
  • Monitor school performance and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Help create an exceptional experience for every child and family
  • Collaborate with regional and senior leadership
  • Promote continuous professional development

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is confident, organized, positive, and passionate about early childhood education.

Required Qualifications:

  • CDA or Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education required
  • 3+ years of leadership experience
  • 3+ years of experience working in a licensed childcare facility
  • Strong knowledge of early childhood education
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Excellent organizational and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to remain flexible and solutions-oriented in challenging situations
  • Commitment to professional growth and development
  • Comfortable using technology, including Microsoft Office 365 and industry-specific applications
  • Must meet applicable state licensing requirements

Travel

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 10% for training, professional development, and organizational meetings
