Role Overview

Sodexo is seeking a Child Nutrition Consultant for Delhi USD located in Delhi, CA. Candidates will provide expert leadership and support for nutrition services operations. The individual serves as a consultant to senior leadership, delivers data-driven insights, and collaborates with frontline staff and administration to improve program effectiveness. Strong financial, analytical, research, and project management skills are essential, along with the ability to communicate clearly and drive results using tools such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

What You"ll Do

  • Oversee purchasing, receiving, inventory, and financial system data entry
  • Ensure compliance with USDA regulations and district nutrition standards across all food service operations.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership by providing data-driven recommendations and operational insights.
  • Partner with frontline teams and district administrators to enhance program performance, efficiency, and student outcomes.

What You Bring

  • Proven experience managing food service operations, including budget development and financial oversight.
  • Strong knowledge of K-12 nutrition programs, USDA regulations, and food safety standards; ServSafe Certification preferred or ability to obtain.
  • Demonstrated leadership, team development, and relationship-building skills with the ability to effectively partner with clients and stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical, financial, research, project management, and communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Minimum Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED

Minimum Management Experience - 3 years
