The Goddard School® located at 7538 Teague Rd in Hanover, MD is seeking a warm and friendly personaility to be a Welcoming Greeter to join our team! At our School, we put our teachers first because they put our students first. As a Greeter you will collaborate incoming parents and students to welcome them into the school building during morning drop off and afternoon pick up times.

Welcoming Greeter Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome families, students, visitors, and staff in a friendly and professional manner
- Monitor and manage the school entrance to help maintain a safe and secure environment
- Assist with student arrival and dismissal procedures
- Maintain visitor sign-in procedures and verify identification when necessary
- Communicate effectively with school administration, teachers, and families
- Help ensure the lobby and reception area remain clean, organized, and welcoming
- Receive and distribute deliveries, mail, and packages
- Provide general customer service support to prospective and current families
- Support special school events and activities as needed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required
- Empathy and compassion for young children
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff, children and families
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children
- Must pass required state background checks and meet state minimum education, experience and credential requirements
