    EXPERIENCED CAMPUS SECURITY OFFICERS – NOW HIRING
    Educational Campus | Non-Commissioned Security
     
    PROFESSIONAL SECURITY. EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE. CAMPUS SAFETY.
    Star Protection Agency is currently seeking experienced, dependable, and professional Security Officers to fill open positions at an educational campus.
    We are looking for experienced security professionals who understand that working in an educational environment requires more than maintaining security. Campus Officers must demonstrate professionalism, sound judgment, strong communication, situational awareness, accountability, and exceptional customer service when interacting with students, faculty, staff, visitors, and school administration.
    Candidates should be comfortable working in an active campus environment and maintaining a professional, visible security presence throughout their assigned shift.
    CAMPUS OFFICER DUTIES
    Campus Security Officers will be responsible for:
    • Maintaining a visible and professional security presence throughout the campus.
    • Conducting routine interior and exterior foot patrols of assigned areas.
    • Monitoring entrances, exits, common areas, and other designated campus locations.
    • Assisting with access control and monitoring visitors entering the property.
    • Observing and reporting suspicious activity, safety concerns, policy violations, and security-related incidents.
    • Responding promptly and professionally to incidents, emergencies, and security concerns.
    • Communicating effectively with school administrators, faculty, staff, visitors, and Star Protection Agency management.
    • Providing professional assistance and direction while maintaining a customer-service-focused approach.
    • Completing accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and required security documentation.
    • Following established post orders, emergency procedures, client requirements, and Star Protection Agency policies.
    • Remaining alert, professional, and prepared to respond appropriately throughout the entire shift.
    EXPERIENCE & POSITION REQUIREMENTS
    Applicants should meet the following qualifications:
    • Experienced security professional with verifiable security experience.
    • Educational, school, or campus security experience strongly preferred.
    • Active and valid Texas Level II Non-Commissioned Security License.
    • Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
    • Ability to remain calm, professional, and decisive during emergency situations.
    • Ability to follow written post orders and established security procedures.
    • Ability to complete clear, accurate, and professional written reports.
    • Basic computer proficiency.
    • Professional appearance and customer-service-oriented attitude.
    • Dependable transportation and consistent attendance.
    • Ability to perform routine patrols and remain active throughout the assigned shift.
    SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS
    Candidates must have the availability required for the open assignment and understand that security operations may require flexibility based on campus and client needs.
    Applicants should be prepared to discuss their current availability, scheduling limitations, transportation, security experience, licensing status, and ability to meet the requirements of the assigned post during the interview process.
    PRE-EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS
    Final candidates must successfully complete all required pre-employment and client screening, including:
    • Comprehensive background investigation
    • Drug screening
    • Employment and experience verification
    • Texas security licensing verification
    • Additional client-specific screening requirements, when applicable
