School Kitchen Support Position


Our school is seeking a dependable and caring individual to support our kitchen operations and help provide nutritious meals for children ages 12 months through 6 years.


Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized kitchen environment in accordance with health and safety guidelines
  
  
• Prepare and serve simple, nutritious meals and snacks appropriate for young children
  
  
  • 9:00 AM Morning Snack
    
    
  • 12:00 PM Lunch
    
    
  • 3:00 PM Afternoon Snack
    
    
• Wash dishes and sanitize kitchen equipment
  
  
• Perform light cleaning duties throughout the school as needed
  
  
• Create and share a monthly menu with families
  
  
• Follow all food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
  
  

Qualifications

• Food Handler’s Certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
  
  
• Experience cooking for young children preferred
  
  
• Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices
  
  
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
  
  
• Positive attitude and enjoyment of working in a school environment
