2026 Central Carolina Academy Maintenance Technician
- Be able to work independently

- Maintain a clean and orderly work space with equipment and tools stored appropriately; work areas are clean and organized
- Have basic carpentry and plumbing skills
- Maintain or train staff to help strip and wax tile floors
- Basic painting skills
- Maintain school equipment. Examples but not limited too: Floor machine, stripping, buffing equipment, and vacuums
- Coordinate and oversee fire and health inspection requirements/procedures(keep updated records)
- Coordinate and oversee fire drills with Principals and Admin. Staff
- Assist with inventory control of custodial, athletic, maintenance and security (equipment and property)
- Coordinate campus mowing and weather-related campus clearing of sidewalks and parking lots with outside contractors
- Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors for school supplies and maintenance of the school (AC/Heat, Plumbing, Mowing, Locksmith and etc.)
- Any other duties that may be assigned by the Principal, AD or supervisor.
- Coordinate with AD on maintenance of the buses
Other requirements
- Must have basic technology skills
- Use of cell phone
- Use of email
- Must have a valid NC driver’s license
- Ability to climb ladders at various heights
- Obtain and/or maintain a CDL and drive morning & afternoon routes (addition pay for bus driving)

- First shift job
- 40 hours per week plus benefits
- 12 months a year
- $20 to $22 per hour
Optimal to have professional credentials (i.e. plumbing, carpentry, etc.)
