    School Mental Health Presenter (Part-Time) 
     
    Location: St. Louis
    Schedule: Part-Time, up to 20 Hours/Week
    Compensation: $21.00–$23.00 per Hour

    Position Overview
    CHADS Coalition is seeking an engaging and compassionate School Mental Health Presenter to deliver evidence-based mental health and suicide prevention programs to middle and high school students throughout the St. Louis metropolitan area. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys public speaking, building relationships, and making a meaningful impact on the lives of young people. Presenters serve as ambassadors of CHADS Coalition's mission by helping students recognize warning signs, reduce stigma, and connect themselves or others to support when needed.
     
    Key Responsibilities
    • Deliver in-person Signs of Suicide® (SOS) presentations to middle and high school students.
    • Facilitate engaging discussions on youth mental health, suicide prevention, and help-seeking behaviors.
    • Build and maintain positive relationships with school administrators, counselors, educators, and students.
    • Ensure presentations are delivered in accordance with evidence-based program standards.
    • Complete required documentation, attendance records, surveys, and reporting in a timely manner.
    • Maintain electronic records and program data.
    • Participate in team meetings, professional development, and training opportunities.
    • Support community outreach events and other organizational initiatives as needed.
    • Promote CHADS Coalition programs and services when appropriate.
     
    Qualifications
    Required:
    • Bachelor’s degree in education, Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Communications, or a related field.
    • Strong public speaking, presentation, facilitation, or teaching skills.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and presentation technology.
    • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation and ability to travel throughout the St. Louis metropolitan area.
    • Availability during school hours, Monday through Friday.
    Preferred:
    • Experience working with youth in educational, nonprofit, mental health, or community settings.
    • Teaching, counseling, facilitation, youth development, or public speaking experience.
    • Knowledge of youth mental health, suicide prevention, or social-emotional learning.
