    38850 Navicent Health Medical Center - School Nursing Program

    Schedule Details/Additional Information:

    Monday-Friday 7am-4pm depending on assignment; Must be RN or LPN.

    Pay Range:

    $24.10 - $37.95

    Major Responsibilities:

    • Administers OTC and prescription medications
    • Provide basic first aid
    • CPR training for staff
    • Manage healthcare needs such as Asthma, Diabetes and Epilepsy as examples
    • Develop and maintain relations with parents and stakeholders in the schools
    • Document in Power School and keep medical information update
    • Reviews and updates immunization and health records at the school

    Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required:

    Current RN licensure in the State the teammate practices

    Education Required:

    Graduate of an accredited School of Registered Professional Nurses

    Experience Required:

    None

    Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

    Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

    Full range of body motion including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination. Standing and walking for
    extensive periods of time. Occasionally lifts and carries weight up to 50 pounds. Ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols with vision
    and hearing within normal range to respond to Code alerts and equipment alarms. Work-related stress due to volume and time constraints with
    irregular working hours.
