Requirements / Qualifications
Minimum Requirements: Nursing License, Baccalaureate Degree, current CPR/1st Aid Certification - Will need to apply for School Nurse Credential if hired Desirable qualifications include a Master s Degree and the ability to communicate in Spanish.
Statement/Letter of Intent, Resume, and 3 Letters of Recommendation are required (current within one year) . If you are a current school nurse, a copy of your most recent evaluation and a copy of your credential is also requested.

Medical insurance plans are available on the Azusa Unified School District website in the staff section. Employees working a 90+% assignment are required to take at least single coverage health insurance with the Azusa Unified School District or provide proof of coverage through another group plan. The Board of Education desires to provide a positive work environment where employees and job applicants are free from harassment and are assured of equal access and opportunities in accordance with Law. The Board prohibits any district employee from harassing or discriminating against any other district employee or job applicant on the basis of actual or perceived race, religion, color, national origin, ancestry, age, marital status, pregnancy, physical or mental disability, medical condition, genetic information, veteran status, gender, sex or sexual orientation.
