Position Summary The District-Wide School Nurse promotes student health, safety, and academic success by managing health services across the district. This role involves developing individual healthcare plans, delivering direct nursing care, supporting state health compliance, and serving as a liaison between families, medical providers, and school staff. This grant-funded position is essential in the promotion of our district's strategic plan concerning creating and maintaining a culture of unity and well-being among our staff, students and throughout our community.
SECTION 31aa(5) GRANT REQUIREMENTS: This position is supported through Michigan Section 31aa(5) funding for student mental health support staff. Consistent with grant requirements, individuals hired into this position must:
