School Nurse

**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a dedicated School Nurse to join our educational institution and provide health services to our students and staff. The School Nurse will be responsible for promoting a healthy school environment, treating injuries and illnesses, maintaining student health records, and collaborating with parents and healthcare providers.

**Qualifications:**
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Certification in CPR and First Aid
- Previous experience in pediatric or school nursing is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in emergencies
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

**Responsibilities:** - Carry full responsibility for medical liability insurance - Conduct health screenings and assessments to support the well-being of students and staff
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Develop and implement individual health plans for students with chronic conditions
- Educate students, staff, and families on health topics and preventive care
- Maintain accurate, confidential health records for students
- Collaborate with school staff, parents, and community healthcare providers to promote a healthy school environment
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide immediate care as needed

**Work Environment:**
The School Nurse will primarily work within the school environment, including the school clinic or health office. The position may involve some bending, lifting, or standing for extended periods.
