Position Details:
- Location: Hempstead, Woodmere and Hewlett NY
- Pay Rate: $45.00- 50.00/hr
- Schedule: Full & Part Time and Per Diem
- Shift Hours:8AM- 4PM

Responsibilities:
- Professional, medical treatment of students
- Early detection of physical problems and health evaluations
- Disease prevention
- Promoting programs on health-education and immunization
- Maintaining clinical records
- Coordinating vision, hearing, and orthopedic screening and health assessments
- Providing emergency aid to students and school staff
- Assisting teachers in instructing students in health and nutrition education
- Aiding in student transport
Qualifications:
- Active RN or LPN license in the state of New York.
- BLS certification required (from an in-person BLS course in adherence to AHA and ARC standards).
- Previous experience in a school, pediatric, or public health setting preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
