Ridgefield Public Schools has a vacancy for a school nurse at Scotts Ridge Middle School commencing with the 2026-27 school year.
QUALIFICATIONS
- CT RN license and BSN.
- Kindness, intelligence, maturity, stability and a capacity for growth.
- Knowledge of screening procedures, health counseling and communicable diseases.
- Knowledge of medications, Connecticut health regulations and special needs.
- Ability to work effectively with elementary students.
- Diligence, a steady composure, a sense of humor and an eagerness to try new things.
- Grace under pressure.
- Ability to coordinate health services with other school nurses.
- Certified Adult/Child CPR/First Aid/AED.
- Computer experience with MS Word/Excel.
COMPENSATION: $51.20 per hour.
