School Nurse I Position Overview: Trinity School seeks a qualified School Nurse to join our team and play a vital role in fostering a healthy and safe learning environment. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive healthcare services, promote student wellness, and collaborate effectively with the school community. The school nurse is accountable to practice in accordance with policies and practices as identified by the Georgia Board of Nursing, National Association of School Nurses (NASN), and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). This is a salaried exempt position, not eligible for overtime, under the Fair Labor Standards Act. The anticipated start date for this position is July 30, 2026. Salary: $65,000-75,000 per year depending on experience. Current CPR, AED, and first aid certification (ability to instruct these skills a plus). Training in identifying and caring for concussions, asthma, and anaphylaxis. Work Hours The nurses typically work the early or late shift. The position being filled is for the late shift. Standard hours are 9:00 AM-5:00 PM Monday-Thursday and 9:00 AM-4:00 PM on Friday. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required for special events, and specific hours can be discussed with the supervisor. This is a 12-month position. Summer and Holiday hours and days may be altered at the discretion of the Head of School. When necessary, the employee must be flexible in the ability to work more than her/his regular daily or weekly schedule to complete duties.
