ResponsibilitiesAssess and treat students who become ill or injured during the school day.Maintain health records and document visits, treatments, and health concerns.Administer medications according to district policy and applicable regulations.Develop and implement individualized health plans when needed.Support students with chronic health conditionsTrain appropriate staff on emergency procedures when necessary.Communicate with parents/guardians and healthcare providers.Complete health ScreeningsImmunization and Health ComplianceMaintain accurate health records.Monitor illness trends within the school.Support emergency drills and crisis response.Provide health EducationQualificationsValid New Jersey Registered Nurse (RN) License required.New Jersey School Nurse Certificate preferred.Current CPR and First Aid Certification required.Experience working with children or adolescents preferred.Strong communication, organizational, and recordkeeping skills.Spanish speaking preferred.Compensation and BenefitsCompensation and benefits are provided in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.Eligible employees may receive:Medical, dental, vision, and prescription coveragePaid sick, personal, and bereavement leaveEEO AOSalary: $69,630 (minimum) to $103,470 (maximum) commensurate with experience
