School Nutrition Associate - Hemlock Creek

Part-Time, regular position, 5.50 hours a day follows the school calendar and does not include insurance benefits.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent High degree of organization, self-initiative, and accuracy in work performed Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Duties:

• Responsible for the cooking and temping of all menu items at their prep kitchen.
• Provide feedback to the School Nutrition Supervisor and School Nutrition Coordinator about menu items and potential process improvement.
• Ensure that food is held at the correct temperature.
• Project a positive and courteous attitude and image to the staff, students, and community.
• Possess and demonstrate strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ensure that all equipment and the area are thoroughly clean at the end of each working day, week, and school year.
• Maintain professional competence through staff development activities provided by the District and in compliance with Wisconsin law
• Perform other duties as assigned or as judgment or necessity dictates.
