The Quabbin Regional School District is seeking School Nutrition members in the Quabbin Regional School District for the 2025/2026 school year.
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 1:00pm
Duties include:
- Assist in preparation of meals and serving of meals in a fast-paced setting
- Serve food as directed to meet the recipe specifications, and state and federal regulations
- Assist in cleaning the kitchen daily
- Maintain established departmental and district policies and procedures, objectives, health and safety standards, and HACCP standards
- Encourage and facilitates cooperation, pride, and trust in the working with others to achieve goals
- Participate in unit meeting, in-service training, workshops, etc.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Director of Food and Nutritional Services.
- Must run POS (Point of sale/computer) independently.
- Must assist with orders and inventory
- Must be Servsafe Certified and Allergy Aware Certified, or obtain certifications within 1 year of employment.
- Must be reliable. Follows school schedule. Start time hours remain the same on school delays due to weather etc.
The physical demands include: continuous standing, frequent walking, and frequent lifting of objects up to 40 lbs.
