    School Occupational Therapist (OT) – School-Based Contract Position

    2026–2027 School Year | Elmhurst, IL

    Navra is seeking compassionate and motivated Occupational Therapists to join our team for the 2026–2027 school year in the Elmhurst, IL area. We are partnering with local school districts to connect skilled therapists with rewarding opportunities that support students in achieving greater independence, participation, and success in their educational environments.

    Position Overview

    As a School-Based Occupational Therapist, you will work with students across a variety of educational settings to support the development of fine motor, sensory processing, self-care, visual-motor, and functional skills that contribute to academic achievement and daily school participation.

    You will collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers to create individualized intervention plans that help students reach their fullest potential.

    Opportunities May Include:

    • Elementary, Middle School, and High School caseloads
    • Full-time and Part-time positions
    • Direct and consultative service models
    • Resource, inclusion, and specialized program settings
    • Participation in multidisciplinary and IEP teams
    • Students with a wide range of developmental, physical, and educational needs

    Key Responsibilities

    • Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
    • Provide direct occupational therapy services to students
    • Collaborate with teachers and support staff to implement effective classroom strategies
    • Contribute to the development and review of IEP goals and accommodations
    • Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
    • Support students in developing skills that promote independence and participation in school activities

    Qualifications

    • Active Illinois Occupational Therapist License (or eligibility to obtain)
    • School-based experience preferred, but not required
    • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
    • Knowledge of pediatric and educational therapy practices
    • Passion for helping students achieve meaningful progress
