Cross Country Education is looking for a passionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to support K-12 students in developing essential fine motor and sensory skills for the 2026-2027 school year in Pittsburg, CA.
Position Overview:
- Provide high-quality, in-person occupational therapy services to K–12 students, focusing on improving fine motor skills, sensory processing, and activities of daily living to enhance educational participation.
- Conduct comprehensive student evaluations and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement measurable IEP goals and tailored treatment plans.
- Recommend and implement assistive technology and classroom modifications to ensure an inclusive and accessible learning environment for students with diverse needs.
- Provide ongoing training and strategies to educators and families to support student progress and functional independence across various campus settings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy
- Valid California Occupational Therapist License
- Experience in pediatric or school-based setting with the flexibility to provide services across multiple school sites within the district
