Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) – Full-Time School Role

Pediatric Developmental Services (PDS) is hiring a full-time Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) to support students in a school-based setting in the Austin area for the 2026–2027 academic year.

This role is ideal for clinicians who are passionate about helping students build independence and succeed in the classroom. We welcome both experienced therapists and those early in their careers.


Position Overview

In this role, you'll partner with educators and school teams to support students' functional development. Your focus will include fine motor coordination, sensory integration, and daily living skills that allow students to fully participate in their learning environment.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Active Texas OT license (or ability to secure one)
  • NBCOT certification preferred
  • Open to new graduates and COTAs

Responsibilities

  • Deliver therapy services in alignment with student IEP goals
  • Complete evaluations and develop individualized plans
  • Address fine motor, sensory, and functional skill development
  • Collaborate with teachers and school staff on classroom strategies
  • Maintain accurate records and participate in required meetings
