Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
Current, valid OT licensure in California
Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting strongly preferred
Familiarity with IEP process and documentation standards
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Commitment to evidence-based, student-centered practice
Ability to collaborate easily with multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify students' needs
Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy plans in line with IEP goals
Engage students in creative and effective therapeutic activities addressing fine/gross motor skills, sensory integration, and daily living skills
Maintain accurate records and progress notes in accordance with school and regulatory guidelines
Participate in IEP meetings as a knowledgeable resource and advocate for student needs
Educate teachers and caregivers on strategies and adaptations for classroom and home
Adjust interventions based on ongoing assessment and team input
