Position Overview:

The School of Business seeks a Student Worker to support the Dean''s Office beginning Spring 2027.

Responsibilities: USE BULLETS

  • • Provide general office support (e.g., emailing, copying, filing, answering multiple phone lines, supplies, etc.).
  • Greet students, parents, and/or community in person or by phone and direct them appropriately to resources.
  • Data entry and maintain and/or create records and spreadsheets, as needed.
  • Assist with research, social media, website, and professional development programs.
  • Provide supplemental office coverage when staff are unavailable.
  • Assist in the creation of social media and digital display posts.
  • Maintain confidentiality at all times.

Learning Objectives:

  • • Improved communication (written and verbal).
  • Organizational skills and adaptability.
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members.
  • Content creation and research skills.
  • Goal setting, time management, and event support.

Required Qualifications:

  • • Must be a currently enrolled TCNJ student.
  • Availability to work up to 15-20 hours per week.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Google Drive/apps. Familiarity with Access.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in person, in writing, and over the phone.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and contribute to continuous improvement.
  • High level of professionalism, including punctuality, dependability and customer service skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Preference for experience with WordPress, Canva, social media, and web postings.
