About the Employer

We are a unified school district serving more than 16,150 students in grades K -12. We have thirteen elementary schools, four middle schools, two comprehensive high schools, three specialized high schools, two alternative high schools and one K-8 school. We also offer a home schooling program, adult education courses and other unique programs to fit the needs of all students. Our school district employs approximately 1,100 certificated and nearly 900 classified employees. Antioch Unified School District is centrally located in the East Bay and provides ready access to scenic mountains, waterfronts, wine country, historical sites and the Pacific Ocean. Antioch is known as the "Gateway to the Delta" and is one of California's oldest cities, with a diverse community of approximately 100,000. Unit: CSEA Classification Hours / Work Year: 3.5 to 8 Hours / 10 Months (180 Days - School days Only) CSEA Salary (Range 121): Step A $24.88, Step B $26.14, Step C $27.47, Step D $28.86, Step E $30.32, Step F $31.85 Promotional /Open: The promotional group as well as the general public may apply. The promotional side of the eligibility list shall take precedence when certifying eligibles. APPLICATION DEADLINE - FRIDAY, JULY 17, 2026, by 4:30 PM Application, answers to supplemental questions and resume are required. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school and one year general clerical experience preferably including frequent public contact. Read, write, and speak proficient in both English and Spanish languages.

SELECTION & EXAMINATIONS: The selection process will consist of a competitive application screening for completeness, qualifications, and experience. A written exam (weighted 40% of your score) and an oral panel interview (weighted 60% of your score) will be conducted. A passing score must be achieved on each portion of the exams. Final selection will be made from those who achieve the three highest ranking scores.
