Your Impact as a School Psychologist
As a key member of the student support team, you will:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational and behavioral evaluations to understand student needs
- Interpret assessment data and create clear, actionable evaluation reports that guide instruction and intervention
- Participate in IEP and 504 eligibility meetings, contributing expert recommendations and insight
- Provide individual and group counseling to support student emotional and behavioral health
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and related service providers to design effective interventions
- Support MTSS/RTI frameworks and use data-driven practices to monitor student progress
- Help design and implement school-wide mental health initiatives (bullying prevention, attendance support, SEL programming, crisis response)
- Assist in crisis intervention and support students experiencing trauma or emotional distress
- Promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive school climate for all learners
What We’re Looking For
- Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology or Educational Psychology
- Active or eligible School Psychologist licensure in Minnesota
- Completion of a supervised internship in school psychology (1,200 hours preferred)
- Strong skills in assessment, data interpretation, and report writing
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities
- Commitment to supporting student mental health and academic success
Preferred Experience
- Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP)
- Experience with MTSS/RTI frameworks
- Background in behavioral consultation and intervention planning
- Familiarity with trauma-informed practices
- Knowledge of social-emotional learning (SEL) systems
- Experience working in K–12 school environments
